Are you an employee or student that needs CPR and first aid training or certificate renewal? OptiWell, the "optimum in wellness training" is now offering evening CPR and first aid training classes at the Golden Care Workforce Institute (GCWI) offices, located at 2469 Broadway.
OptiWell, Inc. is a training center for the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). A two-year nationally recognized CPR certification is issued upon successful completion of the training which is open to the public. Participants will learn the basic care steps and practice including what steps to take in case of heart attack, stroke, and breathing emergencies for all age groups. OptiWell's CPR and first aid classes have also been approved by the Emergency Medical Services Authority for California Child Care licensing. The cost is as follows: adult CPR/AED, $35; adult and pediatric CPR/AED, $45; and first aid, $30. Participants can combine the trainings for a total cost of $55.
For those individuals that need to renew their CPR for the Pro (BLS) with an AHA certificate, OptiWell is also affiliated with Sharp's Cardiac Training Center. Monthly BLS review classes are available at the GCWI location for $45.
Are you required to take a blood borne pathogens class to learn how to prevent disease transmission? These classes are also offered for $25, with a discount offered if taken in combination with other trainings.
